Technical support   engineer
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide post-sales Level 2 technical support to our customers
Test, replicate, and troubleshoot issues in lab environment to root cause problems and provide resolutions to customer issues
Communicate with customer IT administrators regarding action plan and status of their issues
Research and report product defects to development
Document known solutions to help address common customer questions and issues
Deliver and receive training internally
Assist other Technical Support Engineers with difficult and complex issues
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Two years experience in IT with an emphasis on customer support
BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Excellent time management, decision making and organization skills
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Strong knowledge of networking
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and client OS administration
Preferred skills : Mac, SQL/Oracle, programming, Linux/UNIX, IT management products
Fluency in oral and written English
Additional foreign language skills preferred   (Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi,   Taiwanese, etc)
