Rumors sent in by the infamous "Anonymous"
-Anon confirms the existence ZXE (ZX Extremus). Will be released after RnR3.
-ZXE will be a prequel/sequel to ZX. Players will take on the role of either a young Prometheus or Pandora.
-The beginning of the game will deal with the lives of P&P before they became Rockmen.
-An hour or so into the game, the story then shifts to the time gap between ZX and ZXA. P&P are tasked with finding potential Rockmen who can surpass the abilities displayed by ZX. These potential Rockmen are the bosses of the game.
-Anon claims to have seen the game in it's earliest form. Says it looks almost identical to ZX and ZXA, however the environments of the game are very "lively."
-Capcom is kicking around the idea of a unique game play mechanic called the 'Dynamic Weather System' (DWS). The weather throughout the world is always changing at a random pace. Weather will affect the layout of the stage (ala Zero 4) and the behavior of bosses and enemies and even the performance of P&P.
-"Dreams" will be the main theme of the game. P&P will be haunted by numerous dreams (and some nightmares) as the story progresses. Apparently, these are actually playable events.
-The final boss of the game is a "surprise."
-Unfortunately, it appears ZXE will not continue the story after the ZXA.
-A preview of the events in the game appear in the newly released ZX Gigamix soundtrack's drama tracks. Guess what?
-''Extremus" may not be the final name of the game.
Capcom's Corporate Officer/VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development, "Sven", recently commented on aa fan's concerns for a third entry in the ZX series. The "official" status of ZX3:
"To be determined..."
I figured as much, however it's reassuring that Capcom is looking into the issue. My guess is that Capcom is waiting to see how well the "National" version of "ZX Gigamix" fairs in August. (National version is being sold in stores nation wide across Japan, previously Gigamix was an online only purchase)
If Gigamix is succesful, that could be a sign that interest in the series still exists, thus increasing our chances of seeing a third ZX title. So pretty much, the fate of ZX3 is riding of fan support.
We'll just have to see what happens. After all, IntiCreates has their hands tied with Rockman 9, so development of ZX3 will likely happen (if it ever does happen) after RM9's release.

Another Nail in ZX's Coffin: ZX Blog Closing Its Doors
The official Rockman ZX Developer's Blog has updated for the very first time since November of 2007. Hey, that's just dandy. However, the update is something not to be happy about in the least; the update regretfully informs us the blog will be shutting its doors on August 31st, 2008.
That's a darn shame.
The Developer's Blog opened up prior to the release of ZX Advent as a promotional tool, giving fans a behind the screens look at ZXA's development from its numerous contributors.
Frequent Japanese visitors of the blog have already expressed their dissapointment through the blog's numerous comment sections, though I doubt their pleas will do anything worthwile.
I hate to admit it, but the future of ZX seems to be not existant.
thats all the news on relating to the ZX series
