Position Title: Associate Clinical Scientist
Reports to: Clinical manager
Location：上海/北京
In this role, you have the opportunity to
· Philipschallenges you to use your clinical and technical skills to be the clinicallead in the development of new clinical applications on CT scanners and imagepost-processing workstations. Responsibilities include partnering with KeyOpinion Leaders for clinical research, innovation, requirements specificationand management, escorting the development process and clinical aspects testing.You will also support clinical adoption of new CT technologies.
· Youare responsible for
• Initiate, escort and contribute to clinical research with PHILIPS partners
• Product development support for CT:
o Lead clinical applications innovation in CT scanners and workstation
o High level clinical requirements input to Customer RequirementSpecification
o Detailed clinical and workflow requirements for all clinical aspects of theCT scanner and the clinical applications on the workstation
o Support development cycle: escort R&D team throughout the developmentprocess including risk assessment, implementation support, verification,Clinical Evaluation Report, defect prioritization and sites support
o Support cFDA studies
• Image quality expert
• Contribute to the clinical roadmap of CT
• Local sales support:
o Site visits
o Presentations
o Educate local marketing and sales people
• Support customer adoption of new CT technologies:
o Iterative Reconstruction
o Spectral CT
• Keep abreast of clinical, regulatory, market, and technical developments inthe relevant areas through clinical trends analysis, frequent clinical visits,Literature research and Conference participation.
• Cooperate with other clinical scientists, software architects and softwaredevelopers from the Business Innovation Unit and Philips Research.
• Make knowledge available for operational use within Philips to supportmarketing efforts and increase market awareness and acceptance of newtechnology solutions, by demonstrating the added value to clinical outcome.

· Tosucceed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Master degree in Bio-Medical engineering / Life Science / Physics
• Experience in establishing clinical or academic network
• Proven skills in leading multi-disciplinary advanced development projects andexperience in the medical domain
• Excellent Presentation Skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work in a global team with various disciplines
• Aware of business interests and effects
• Fluent in Chinese and English
• Willing to travel. Can be home based but requires to be often on customersites
