Team Fusion no longer participating in North American Challenger Series
Team Fusion will not be returning to compete in the North American Challenger Series for the Summer Split as they were unable to field three valid players from their most recent active roster, Riot Games confirmed in a competitive ruling handed out on Tuesday.
Riot Games required all teams who held prequalified spots to submit rosters for the upcoming season by May 20, but Team Fusion were unable to submit a valid roster. They attempted to complete the request by Riot by filling out a roster that included their former AD Carry, Zachary "Nien" Malhas but that roster was quickly declined when Malhas personally reached out to Riot officials to state that he would not be returning to the team.
From the ruling:
"Fusion claimed Nien, Nintendude, and Bee Sin as their three returning players. However, shortly after the deadline, Nien reached out directly to CS officials to state that he was not intending to play with Fusion in any capacity, and as such was removed from the roster."
The controversy continued as Team Fusion scrambled to put together a valid roster. Fusion added HuHi to their official roster, but CLG quickly reached out to Riot Officials saying "that they did not give HuHi permission to play for Fusion."
By being unable to fill their roster with three eligible players from the previous split, Team Fusion were then handed this official ruling:
"Fusion did not (and could not) submit an eligible roster, and is unable to claim their prequalified spot in the Summer North American Challenger Series."
Since Team Fusion will not be making their return, Riot will be adding a third place match to the Challenger Series qualifiers and the winner of the match will become the newest addition to the League.

Hey guys,
People have been asking about why Cop was on stage for week 1. We want to communicate to everyone what's happening with our previous coach, LS. We recruited LS early in the Spring split, and he helped us improve our fundamentals of rotations and general macro play. He was an invaluable asset to why we went from a Challenger team to a playoff team. Moving forward towards the summer split, we brought Cop into a coaching position at his request to help give LS a hand teaching the players.
We would have liked to have LS continue improving our team moving forward to summer and future splits, but he had to allocate some of his time to real life problems that emerged. It's cruel for us to expect Nick to be working the long hours we need in an understaffed organization. In addition, other opportunities have come up that would better coincide with the out-of-game issues he's resolving.
Gravity management and players all hope Nick overcomes his real-life hurdles, and we certainly hope he keeps pursuing his career in League of Legends. Thanks for everything!

【EU】欧洲劲旅 Gambit Gaming 引入新教练 Shaunz
Shaunz Joins Gambit on a Full-Time Basis


We are glad to announce that Kévin "Shaunz" Ghanbarzadeh will be joining Gambit Gaming as a Head Coach on a full-time basis. During his time with the team we were able to confirm that he is the kind of coach we are looking for. Kévin has a great work attitude, leads our players by example, reinforces productive work environment, plays a crucial role in our strategic in-game development and is even working overtime.
Kévin "Shaunz" Ghanbarzadeh:
"I am happy that we went 2-2 during my two first weeks of coaching. The team is getting better and better day after day and we are doing great work during training. I'm happy that I have the possibility to work with Gambit the entire split, we will aim for the top standings of LCS Summer Split 2015. Thanks for the amazing support!"

He takes up the mantle from Woolite and will play his first competitive match for Team ROCCAT against Elements this week.
Jakob "YamatoCannon" Mebdi on the changed roster: “Woolite is a very talented ADC and has been a great member of the team. However, if we look at the standings and our results in the current split, we are not where we want to be. We need a steady performance to win especially in these close games. This is where we think we can improve with MrRalleZ. We felt that we needed to make a change now while we have enough time left to make it to the top – and that’s clearly our goal.”

【NA】NA LCS队伍Team 8的中路选手Slooshi8将会缺席今周之后的赛事。Team 8於官方网站宣布Slooshi8由於母亲身体问题，将飞回加拿大陪伴家人，不久后官方宣布由GoldenGlue暂代中路位置。GoldenGlue过往曾参加过北美挑战者联赛，分别为Team Dignitas跟Team Coast效力，并以卡特莲娜拿下过五连杀。。



Today we’re pleased to announce the addition of Greyson ‘goldenglue’ Gilmer to our roster as Slooshi takes his leave of absence. As of now we aren’t sure how long Slooshi will be away, but goldenglue will be acting as our starting mid laner in the LCS until further notice.
While the circumstances of this replacement are unfortunate, we’re still excited about the role goldenglue will play for our team, and optimistic about the future of our team as we continue to compete in the summer split.
First and foremost my thoughts and prayers go out to Slooshi and his family as they go through these tough times and I wish them a swift recovery. That being said I will do my best to prove myself as a competitor and hope to lead Team 8 to victories in his absence.

Today, Winterfox is sad to announce the departure of Tristan “ElderPeko” Young as our Head Coach. Tristan is a hard-working individual and his ideas and direction for the team will not be overlooked. He has established a great foundation for our new team to prosper and we will be using that to propel ourselves to the top of the Challenger scene and, ultimately, back into the LCS. Due to personal circumstances, Tristan needed to step down from his on-site position, but will not leave the organization completely. He leaves the following statement:
“I would like to thank Winterfox for the wonderful opportunity they have given me. Sadly, due to personal reasons, I will be unable to continue my responsibilities as Head Coach. I will be moving to an Assistant Coaching role while I work remotely. I hope that all fans of myself and Winterfox respect my decision, and I thank you all for your support.”
Winterfox will be moving forward with Jordan “Leviathan” Thwaites (formerly of Gambit Gaming and Alliance) as our new Head Coach. The team is really motivated by what Leviathan will bring to the table and are excited to have such a veteran Head Coach heading into the NACS. Leviathan has the following to say:
“I'm excited to be joining Winterfox for the upcoming challenger season. I have previously coached ShorterACE and P1noy so they are familiar with the system I use to coach. I will be moving into the gaming house in the coming weeks and we will be training to re-qualify for the 2016 LCS split.”
