4欣赏本周图片 The Tsalala Female has been keeping well beneath the radar over the last few weeks, with sightings of her being few and far between. However, this particular morning last week we found her moving along the Sand River with a belly pretty full. Indicating that she is still thriving and keeping in fantastic condition.

41456欣赏本周图片 Three of the Ndhzenga Male Lions have returned and made a name for themselves as they were found with a single Ntsevu Lioness feeding on a large female giraffe carcass. We are unsure whether the four lions had killed the giraffe themselves or found it dead. It’s a feat that I am sure wouldn’t be too difficult for three large male lions and a female to pull off.312首先说,狮子是猫科中的特例,狮子所有的习性更接近犬类,也是最不像猫科动物的一个。 This week has been an exhilarating one in the bush, the arrival of the Ndhzenga Males caught us all by surprise. We knew a pride and territory take-over was bound to happen but no one expected it to be upon us this soon. Are these new males going to be the ones to control Londolozi in the near future? I guess only time will tell. In the Meanwhile, they feature fairly strongly in this week’s picks, along with a number of other magnificent subjects portrayed in the most beautiful golden light.0欣赏本周图片 An introduction to two of the Ndhzenga or N’waswishaka Male lions. Over the recent few weeks, we have had evidence of male lions venturing onto Londolozi from the south but have not had a chance of seeing them, until this morning. Settling down at the end of an extensive territorial patrol deep into the Birmingham Males’ territory.2欣赏本周图片 The condition of the Birmingham Males at this stage is astounding. Still a formidable force and holding on to their territory, the younger-looking male is looking the best he has ever been. The intensity of a male lion’s eyes fixated on you definitely demands your attention. The Northern Avoca Males were seen together this morning resting in the shade, after what we presume to have been an intense evening of territorial patrols. We could hear lions calling all throughout the night.1
