＊Reading
I like reading. It’s my favorite hobby. Books tell me how to be an honest man and how to be useful to the people. Books also tell me many interesting stories. I like reading different kinds of books. I can learn quite a lot from them. I always feel so relaxing and happy when I do some reading. I think books are my good friends.

＊My hobbies
I’m good at playing basketball, so it’s my hobby. Every day I practise playing basketball with my classmates after school. My another hobby is listening to music. It can help to relax myself when I feel tired or unhappy. I hope to our school will start a music club. I’m sure I can make great progress with the help of our teachers. I also hope there will be less homework on weekends. Then I have more free time to do what I’m interested in and develop my hobbies.

 Electricity is invisible, but it is very important to us. Our life cannot go on without it. Most machines in factories are run by electricity. So many things in our homes are run by electricity, too, such as computers, fridges, televisions, radios and so on. Electricity is a good servant, but a dangerous one. We must always be careful with it.

In order to know what is going on in the world, we can read newspapers, watch TV, surf the Internet and so on. Among them, I think reading newspapers is the most convenient because newspapers are easy to get and you can read them at any time. In fact, reading newspapers has become an important part of our life. It gives us information to help us keep up with the society. I read newspaper every day. I regard it as a way of relaxing. While reading, we can learn more as well as improve our writing skills. It is just like a friend of me and brings me a lot of fun!

 Water is very important to us. We drink water, we use water to wash clothes, we use water to grow crops and so on. We can’t live without water. But water pollution is serious now. I think we should do many things to save water. For example, we should turn off the tap while brushing our teeth and only turn it on when we need to use the water. It’s a good habit to save water.

＊Fighting pollution（2）
Nowadays, there is much pollution, such as air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. We must stop polluting our family----the earth. We should put the litter in the litter bins. We should stop cutting down and burning trees. We should take care of trees because they can keep the earth more beautiful and make us healthy. Let’s fight pollution and make our earth more beautiful.

The successful person in my eyes(1)
Lewis Hamilton is the successful person in my eyes. He was the winner of F1 last year. His great ability and talent make a lot of people all around the world love him. He has spent a huge amounts of time training since he was only 7 years old. He works as hard as possible to achieve his dream. He never gives up when he is in trouble. His experiences tell me that if you want to get success, you must work hard.

There are many successful persons around us. In my eyes, my mum is the most successful person. Although she is not a special person, she is also successful, she’s hard-working. She tries her best to work. She never makes any mistakes. On the other hand, she is helpful and patient. When I meet difficulty. She will teach me patiently. She is kind to others.
From her, I have learnt that we should be patient and helpful, hardworking and be kind to others! That’s what we all need to learn.
