This is my ode to Jeremy Brett's Holmes
 
Jeremy Brett played Holmes for several seasons of episodes and feature length films on British Granada Television starting in 1984 and ending in 1994. These figures aren't the more traditional figures, like Holmes with the deerstalker hat, but are consistant with the images of Holmes and Watson created by Conan Doyle, the creator of the characters and of the TV version who often dressed in typical Victorian attire. 
 
In Series One, I used clothing that reflects Holmes in London, his dark coat and tophat. This version of Watson is not based so much on any one actor but my interpretation using the materials I had at hand.
 
I have also added some new props and accessories to the set. Note Holmes' more accurate pipe in the shot below. I made that one myself. The too-large pipe is from a Sideshow figure and is not Holmes accurate.

SERIES TWO

For series two, I went with what Holmes wore in The Hound of the Baskervilles, which is the more classic and familiar attire of the long grey coat and the famous deerstalker hat, made especially for this figure, courtesy of Vikki Godwin of The Fabric of Time and Space website.

 For this version of Holmes I used a taller, leaner body and a new head with a slightly better likeness to actor Jeremy Brett, and a nod to the look of the famous Paget illustrations in the Strand magazine as well.

WHAT'S THIS?

OH NO, WATSON! 
It's....

MORIARTY!

I had to try and work up a Professor Moriarty figure, just to give Holmes a Watson a threat element within the collection.
Plus, he's the obvious top villain of the entire Holmes mythos, and my next character of choice.
 
For the figure, I used a Sideshow Ed Platt head, better known as the Chief on Get Smart, on a Dragon body with a variety of high end 1/6 clothes. 
I really like his face and thought he had the look that could come across as menacing for my Moriarty, as well as the fact that he resembles the actor that portrayed Moriaty on the Granada series, Eric Porter.
 
To even more resemble Porter, I added wrinkles, a mole, the long hair and thick eyebrows and gave him a very dark countenence, hopefully bringing more inline with the character of 
"the Napoleon of Crime!"
 
I hope you like my results.

哪里有卖的啊

教授的打扮，很酷，很符合我心中的形象，也是一袭黑色的长袍没错，当然原著里没有这么说。

不过，好像扮演教授的演员和原著当中描写得不同。原著当中是写教授其实是蛮文弱的一个人，还有点驼背，插画也是这样。

但是演员则都会选择一些浓眉大眼，身材高大，国字形脸的演员来扮演。大概是为了显示他身为莫党组织领袖的威严吧......
