    2.Objective of the Manual
    （手册的目的）

    As per request by the AFC Ad-Hoc Committee for Professional Football on 17 July
    2012, the AFC Administration produced the first edition of the Manual for Pointing
    System & Decision Method for AFC Champions League (ACL) Participation. This
    first edition manual aims to provide comprehensive information on the mechanics
    of the AFC Champions League points calc ulation and the decision methods on the
    slot allocations based on the assessment results.
    （按照亚足联职业足球特设委员会2012年7月17日的要求，亚足联总部发布了指点亚洲冠军联赛（ACL）参与制度及决策方法的第一版手册。这第一版手册诣在提供亚洲冠军联赛积分计算的全面的信息，评估结果的根据和名额分配的决策办法。）

    The inspections conducted by the AFC Special Mission Teams, the results and the
    slot distribution will apply for the ACL Season of 2013 and 2014.
    （由亚足联特使团队检查，结果和名额分配将适用于2013-2014赛季的亚洲冠军联赛。）

      3. Points System（积分制度）
      3.1 NEW ACL Points Distribution
      （新亚冠联赛积分分布）

      There are three major changes in ACL Point Distribution System.
      （亚冠联赛积分分配制度有三个主要变化）

      -A. Change in the total points;（A.在总积分的变化）
      -The total points for the 2013/2014 assessments will be 1,000 points
      compared to 800 points in 2011. Howeve r, there will be no changes in the
      number of categories of the ACL Criteria for Points Distributions. (11
      categories in total)
      （2013/2014的评估总分将是1000分，2011为800分。然而，亚冠联赛积分分不标准的类别将不会有变化（总类别11个）。）

      -B. Points Deduction and Minimum points required for Participation in ACL
      （B.亚冠联赛扣分点和最低参与分数）
      Each Member Association (MA) will be allowed to fail one or more items but a
      30 point deduction will be a pplied to each item failed.
      （每个会员协会（MA）将被允许失败一个或多个项目，但每一个项目的失败将会被扣除30分。）
      However, each MA must obtain a minimum 600 points to participate in ACL.
      （然而，每个会员参加亚冠联赛的会员协会必须获得最低600分。）

        -C. Change of weight for selected Categories（C.重点类别的变化）
        Compared to the ACL Points Distribution system for the 2011 season, the
        weight for selected categories has been changed as follows;
        （相比2011赛季亚冠联赛的积分分布制度，已经选定的重点类别更改如下）
        In the case of the Technical Standard, it will be assessed based on National
        Team’s Performance (30%) and Club teams’ performance (70%) with the
        tabulation being over the last 4 years of AFC Club competitions
        （在技术分这一项里面，将根据国家队表现的30%和俱乐部过去4年在亚足联俱乐部比赛中成绩的70%评估）

                              4. Policy on Failure to meet the ACL Criteria
                              （4、亚冠积分未达标政策）

                              Even though a Member Association fails in meeting one or more items of the ACL
                              Criteria, it shall be allowed to participate in the AFC Champions League; however, the
                              Member Association will have 30 points deducted from the to tal number of points scored.
                              （一个协会即使在一项或几项上面没有达到亚冠标准，它仍然可以参加亚冠联赛；但是，该协会要为此在所得总分基础上扣除30分。）
