Emilia Lydia Rose Fox was born on 31 July, 1974, to parents Edward Fox and Joanna David, both had a name for themselves thanks to acting. Emilia had a brother, Freddie Fox, who was also and actor and a half sister, Lucy. Emilia’s first appearance was alongside Mr. Darcy (Colin Firth) in Pride and Prejudice in 1995. In 1998 she could be seen back on screens again, when she played the Young Vanessa from Catherine Cooksons The Round Tower. In 2003 she played Henry VIII’s most prized wife, Jane Seymour, in a five part film based on Henry VIII and his life & reign. In 2004, Emilia played Lady Margaret in Gunpowder, Treason and Plot, a mini-series about the gunpowder plot to kill James I of England. Since 2006, she played Dr. Nikki Alexander from Silent Witness, and in 2009 she appeared in both Merlin, a fiction Television series based on the wizard Merlin from the Arthurian Legens, as Morguase, and as Queen/Princess Elizabeth (II) in a mini series move, The Queen, in 2009, both alongside Katie Mcgrath (and in both sisters!).
