There's no way in hell Nokia would switch from OMAP3 to Snapdragon
when using they already use the OMAP3 based N900 as the reference
platform for MeeGo development. Snapdragon uses a custom architecture,
it's not Cortex-A8 and would be a non-trivial change when all developer
has been done an incompatible device!
The N8 already has a second generation AMOLED display (60% brighter
than gen 1 displays) and given the chronic Super AMOLED supply issues it
would make no sense to switch. In addition the N8 has Bluetooth 3.0 -
why would the superior N9 launch with Bluetooth 2.0?
How the hell do you reckon the N9 will have a 5MP camera, yet the
mid-range N8 has a 12MP camera. It doesn't make sense, it just doesn't
This "spec list" is just a wish list of half-baked ideas, and you're reporting it as reliable! lol!!
