词不离句，句不离文。具体的语境才能充分体现这类习语活泼的语言特色，因此在理解这些习语时，一定要认真体会上下文的逻辑意思，在不同的语境中，同样的词组可能会有不同的含义。

The bookshop is at the four corners.
前一句是说“他游遍天涯海角”，后一句含义为“书店在十字路口”
再如： I didn't know you are in the family way.
He always speaks to me in a family way.
前一句字面意思为：“我不知道你要成家了。”，但是其真正含义是“我原先不知道你有喜（怀孕）了。”；后一句就跟“怀孕”无关了，意思为“他总是把我当作佳人一样跟我说话。”。
如果在文章中或者其他一些题目中遇到这类习语，只有仔细揣摩上下文，才可准确判断出其真正确切的含义。
